Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional

Method
 

Prepare the Batter
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a blender, combine the black beans, eggs, cocoa powder, maple syrup, peanut butter, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
Bake the Brownies
  1. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  2. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  3. Let cool before cutting into squares.
