  • 4 pieces Bell Peppers Any color
  • 1 pound Ground Beef 80/20 lean
  • 1 cup Cooked Rice White or brown
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce Divided
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or mozzarella

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Stuff each bell pepper with the beef mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  5. Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the stuffed peppers.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
