  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole milk (warmed)
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
Frosting Ingredients
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Method
 

Making the Dough
  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
  2. In another bowl, whisk flour and salt; gradually add to the yeast mixture until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth. Let rise in a greased bowl covered with a damp cloth until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
Rolling and Baking
  1. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (1/2 inch thick), spread with softened butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, and layer sliced strawberries.
  2. Roll tightly and slice into pieces.
  3. Place in a greased baking dish; let rise again for about 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
Making the Frosting
  1. For frosting, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls.
