Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour unbleached
  • 1 cup sourdough starter active
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk dairy or plant-based

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the sourdough starter with milk until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients; gently fold in blueberries.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown; a toothpick should come out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!
