Ingredients

Fish Marinade
  • 1 lb white fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Taco Assembly
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup fresh salsa store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup crema or sour cream
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped for garnish

Method

Prepare the Fish
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the fish fillets and coat well. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
Grill the Fish
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the marinated fish on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side. Flake the grilled fish and place it on the tortillas. Top with shredded cabbage, fresh salsa, crema, and chopped cilantro.
