Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
Marinade
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley.
Marinate the Shrimp
  1. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
Skewer the Shrimp
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
Grill the Shrimp
  1. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
Serve
  1. Remove from the grill and serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.

Notes

For best results, soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
