Ingredients
  

Taco Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup water
Taco Assembly
  • 8 count taco shells hard or soft
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup tomato diced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream for topping
  • 1/2 cup salsa for topping

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  3. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning and water. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Place taco shells in a baking dish.
  2. Fill each shell with the beef mixture and top with shredded cheese.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Serve
  1. Remove from oven and top with lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and salsa.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!
