Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.33 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, alternating with the whole milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool completely in the pan.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk.
  8. Once the cake is cool, poke holes in it with a fork and pour the milk mixture over the top, allowing it to soak in.
  9. Whip the heavy whipping cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until it reaches soft peaks.
  10. Spread the whipped cream over the soaked cake and serve.
