- In a small bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt until combined.
- Pour the frothy yeast mixture and melted butter into the dry ingredients. Stir until well combined.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Punch down the dough, shape into a loaf, place in greased loaf pan, cover, and let rise again for about 30 minutes while preheating oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
