  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Coating Ingredients
  • 2 cups chocolate melting wafers
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 cup sprinkles

Method
 

Preparing the Cake Pops
  1. Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions using the eggs, water, and vegetable oil.
  2. Bake the cake as directed and allow it to cool completely.
  3. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl until fine.
  4. Roll the cake crumbs into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Coating the Cake Pops
  1. Melt the chocolate melting wafers along with the coconut oil in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  2. Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted chocolate, then insert the stick into each cake ball.
  3. Coat each cake pop with the melted chocolate.
  4. Sprinkle with various colored sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
  5. Allow the cake pops to set completely before serving.
